Position: Cloud Engineer (Azure & AWS)

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless computing (e.g., Lambda, Cloud Functions). You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure while implementing automated DevOps processes to deliver efficient, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.

DevOps & Automation:
Implement CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and configuration management using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.

Serverless Architecture:
Build and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.

Cloud Monitoring & Optimization:
Monitor infrastructure using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Datadog; optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.

Security & Governance:
Apply best practices in access control, IAM, encryption, and VPC/network security configurations across AWS and Azure.

CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Design and automate code deployment processes for cloud-hosted applications.

Cloud Functions Development:
Develop and maintain Lambda and Azure Functions for seamless, serverless task execution.

Collaboration & Troubleshooting:
Work with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployments and troubleshoot technical issues.

Documentation & Best Practices:
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and ensure alignment with best practices, governance, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.

DevOps Expertise: Proficient in CI/CD and automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline, etc.

Cloud Platforms: Strong command of AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM) and Azure (App Services, Functions, VMs, Azure AD).

Serverless Computing: Experience developing serverless apps using AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.

Scripting & Automation: Proficient in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform.

Cloud Security: Deep understanding of IAM, VPC, encryption, and security best practices.

Version Control: Familiarity with Git and versioning tools.

Networking: Working knowledge of AWS VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups; and Azure Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs.

Monitoring Tools: Experience with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and third-party monitoring solutions.

Team Collaboration: Ability to thrive in cross-functional, Agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent.

Containerization & Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS (AWS), AKS (Azure).

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on with CloudFormation, Terraform, or ARM templates.

Cloud Cost Management: Experience optimizing costs using AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management.

Database Experience: Familiarity with Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Azure SQL, CosmosDB.

Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile development environments.
